Waterbaby

Kyler had his first swimming lesson yesterday. He has just recently started enjoying baths, doing a LOT of splashing and soaking me, but I'm glad he's enjoying it. Because of that, I had high hopes for swimming, which is really just a large bath with the temperature they keep it at. And Kai proved that he is his dad's boy with an innate love for the water.

As soon as we got in the pool he started splashing and having fun. He enjoy the water toys they gave him, bouncing around in mom's arms and practicing his kicking. Like all the babies, he swallowed some water a couple times, but he shook it off like a champ.

The instructor said that around the 4th week, we'll be dunking the kids underwater (optional), which makes me a bit nervous, but I know it will be harder for me than for him.

Another plus, the family change rooms are incredible. Tons of separate rooms with doors that could easily fit you, your stroller and a couple kids, so there's lots of space to change and even feed babies without feeling awkward.

Sorry grandparents, but I couldn't take any photos this time. The last class is the only time we can take photos, but I'll take lots then. :0)

On a completely different topic, Kai rolled from back to front this afternoon! And he's just so close to crawling, it could happen any time.
