Halfway done

I can't believe it, but my maternity leave is now halfway done! I'm only taking 10 months off and letting AJ have 2 months with Kai, which means this is the halfway point.

It's gone by so fast and yet it seems like Kai has been in our lives for such a long time.

At his 4 month weigh-in, he was 17 lbs. which is only a pound and a half gain, but I think he's just letting the other babies catch up with him.

Kai is rolling over now, both directions and getting close to rolling back to front, but not quite there. He's talking more and learning that his voice can make this "wonderful" screeching sound. It's so fun to play with him now that he responds and looks in your eyes and blows raspberries.

We've been so blessed to have such a wonderful baby who is happy most of the time and even sleeps through the night. I'm concentrating now on really enjoying having him around full time because I know I'll be back to work before I know it.
