2 months!

Kai is 2 months old today! It's unbelievable. In some ways, it feels like he's been with us much longer and then sometimes, I feel like I'm still just starting to learn what it means to be a parent.

At 2 months, we're getting to spend a lot more awake time with Kai. He still LOVES his chair and playing with that hanging lion. He also is finally starting to like his swing a lot more. And he's getting stronger all the time - holding his head up a lot more and almost ready for the Bumbo, but he hasn't figured out crawling. I guess that's probably a good thing.

At 6 weeks, Kyler slept through the night for the first time! He's done it many nights since, but the secret seems to be that sleep swaddler. Without it, he's still sleeping 6-7 hours, but 9 hours with the swaddler is amazing for this tired mom.

One other thing that has been really fun is that Kai has made a friend...with the tiger sticker on the wall above his change table. He's making some noises now like he's thinking about talking, but when he sees that tiger, he really babbles like he's having a conversation. It's hilarious!
