It's Getting Close Now...

Well, today is exactly 3 weeks from the expected big day! These last few weeks, since we had the baby showers, have just flown by. The baby's room is ready, our hospital bags are packed and the car seat is installed (to be inspected this weekend to make sure we did it right). All that we need now is a baby.

Of course, the closer the date gets, the more nervous I get about the big event. I can't even imagine what I'm going to be feeling. I'm not sure if it's worse not knowing. If I really knew what I was in for, maybe I would be more scared. As it is, I can just stop thinking about it and focus on what comes after. It's not like there's anything I can do anyway.

I have just under 2 weeks of work left and start training my replacement on Monday, which I'm actually kind of looking forward to. The company has a bit of a history of not necessarily giving maternity leave jobs back to the person who left, but I'm not too concerned about that. They have to give me something comparable anyway.

AJ and I had a maternity photo shoot a couple weeks ago with my friend Kristin. I'll probably blow one of the shots up to put in the baby's room, not sure which one yet. Enjoy!
