At my 39-week doctor's appointment, she informed me that the baby is quite comfy where it is, however, and she's almost positive I'll make it to 40 weeks and possibly longer. I know first babies are usually overdue, so it's not a huge surprise. I guess we'll see next Thursday (my doctor's appointment is on my due date) if I've progressed any further and, if not, this little guy or girl might need a little help getting the process started.
I finished work this week, so now I have the rest of the time before baby to relax and get any last minute things done. Of course, I'm not really a last-minute kind of girl - we've been ready for weeks really. But I'm enjoying sleeping in a bit and keeping my feet up. Pretty soon I won't be allowed to be lazy anymore.
I'm praying that this baby stays as healthy as it's been all pregnancy, that it doesn't wait too too long to arrive and that it's not too big!
