Today marks 12 full weeks and the end (ish) of my first trimester! This is very exciting for me for many reasons. First, because I should start feeling less exhausted and nauseous and averse to food very soon. But even more exciting - we're finally going to be able to tell people our most exciting news ever!
I told a friend last night and, while she was happy for me, it was exactly the reaction I expected. I think she guessed that this might happen soon so there was no jaw dropping in surprise. I'm wondering if this is going to be like when you get back from an exciting vacation and you're so excited to tell everyone, but they're only mildly interested. I hope not.
We're finally telling our families in just over a week and I do anticipate a much more excited reaction then. THAT will be my best Christmas present!
